SECURITY SITUATION
The delegation of the parliament of Federal Republic of Germany, presided by the president of the fraction of Green association, Reco Shlauh, yesterday had separate meeting’s with the vice president of Macedonian parliament Tomislav Stojanovski and with the president of the commission for Internal politics and defense Luben Paunovski. In the talks was expressed satisfaction for the quick reaction and also for the help that Germany had gave during the Kosovo war.
NUMBER OF REFUGEES
Yesterday from third countries, through Macedonian territory, in Kosovo have returned 1.239 persons. According to the International organization for migration yesterday in Kosovo have returned 158 persons form Austria, 101 from Germany, 105 from Dutch, 275 from USA, 119 from Australia, 312 from Turkey, 164 from Sweden and 5 from Belgium. Today is expected to be realized six flights from Slovenia, Australia, Israel, Sweden and USA.
According to the High commissioner for refugees yesterday 145 persons have returned in Kosovo, 110 of them settled in camps and 35 in families. With this program until now the totall number of the persons that have returned to Kosovo is 3.929. The large number of them went to Prishtina, then in Urosevac, Gilane, Podujevo, Lipjane etc.
CAMPS
The refugee camp in village Senokos, where during the crises were settled more then 8.000 humanitarian cared persons from Kosovo, today has been closed. The last thirteen persons from this camp were transferred in the camp of Çegrane. In the coming days the place where the canopies were settled will be totally cleaned. The Cegrane camp, according to the UNHCR, should be emptied until the end of August or in the beginning of September.
SUPPORT
Yesterday had begun the realization of the project "Open door" organized by the women center of the Association of organizations of women’s in Macedonia. In the project are included refugee children and women and 10 volunteers will work with them, such as doctors, psychologist and gynecologist. This project will extend till the end of October and is financed by Women organization form Sweden.
