According to all the daily newspapers, two hand bombs were thrown on Monday, about 23:45, from a slowly moving vehicle, at the entrance of NATO barracks in Kumanovo, where French soldiers are settled. Nobody was injured in the incident, and the explosions caused insignificant material damage.

NUMBER OF REFUGEES

The spokesman of UNHCR at a yesterday press conference said that, the work of the airlift is being intensified and that about 70.000 refugees will be transported. Also, according to UNHCR, 175.450 refugees arrived in Macedonia until now, while more than 78.600 of them are settled in the houses of Albanians in Macedonia. The rest of 58.200 refugees are settled in camps. Until now, 36.500 refugees are transferred from Macedonia.

According to Nova Makedonija, based on an information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVR), 53.000 refugees are settled in Stenkovec 1 and 2, about 5.500 in Neprosteno, 2000 in Radusa and 1500 in Senokos.

According to Dnevnik, in the borderland of Blace a new influx of 3.000 refugees arrived yesterday. In Stenkovec 1 i 2 about 10 new tents were pitched yesterday, and 1.500 refugees were transferred.

CAMPS

UNHCR declares that there are no more places in the camps and that camps will not be expanded. It is expected that the first refugees will start to arrive at the camp of Cegrane in Friday, at most.
