SECURITY SITUATION

According to the daily newspaper Dnevnik, ten days ago Macedonian police have made impossible the try for the terrorist action against German forces of NATO that are settled in Strumica. Dnevnik had an information that the attack was supposed to be committed in the moment when a unit of German forces moved from Strumica to Skopje. Terrorists were unable to commit the planned attack, because they were stop by the Macedonian police, in the moment when they were prepared to launch a hand missile of "Zola" type, against the German mechanized machine from NATO forces. The Macedonian police are working to solve the case. According to the Ministry of Interior (MVR), in Macedonia is existing another group, which works under the instruction of two members of KOS.

 

THE NUMBER OF REFUGEES

According to the Ministry of Interior (MVR), the day before yesterday, about 19.000 persons left Macedonia and went to Kosovo, while about 16.000 persons went in Kosovo a day before it. The UNHCR informed that until now 114.000 refugees left Macedonia by their own will, while the MVR says that this number is smaller about 60.000. UNHCR from Monday will begin the organized return of refugees, but only in the cities like Prizren, Urosevac, Prishtina and Kaçanik. Using airlift 395 refugees were transferred in third countries, with three flights, in Check Republic, Great Britain and France. The transfer of refugees to third countries will continue until 1 July, when is planned this project to be stopped. Until now using airlift 92.596 persons from Macedonian were transferred to third countries.

 

 

CAMPS

According to the daily newspaper Fakti, until now 700 persons from Radusa camp have been returned in Kosovo, while in the other camp, that was built for refugees that were coming from Bosnia the number of refugees that left Macedonia and went to Kosovo is smaller. But, certain number of refugees that have been to Kosovo now are returning in Macedonia, because they have not found the living conditions there.

The day before yesterday in the Cegrane camp, was a celebration atmosphere, because of the children show "Musical bocks". After the show was finished all the children’s had taken special gifts distributed by H.O. "Mother Teresa" from Struga.

 

 

 

SUPPORT

According to the daily newspaper Makedonija, all the refugees that are leaving Macedonia and are going in Kosovo, and have chronicle disease will accept aid in medicaments, so they can continue with the therapy for one month. The vice-minister of health, Muharem Nexhipi, stressed that this aid was given because the health condition of ill refugees may get worse.
