The president of Republic of Macedonia Kiro Gligorov will participate in the summit of states that are participating in the Pact for stability of Southeast Europe. He was invited by the president of Finland Marti Ahtisari, the actual chairman of European Union and also by the president of chairmanship of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ante Jelaviç.

According to the Ministry of Interior, in Macedonia, in families are still settled about 28.000 refugees from Kosovo. But, here we should also add the number of 5.000 refugees that are not been registered. In the camps are still settled 8.000 refugees, which will stay until the autumn. The High commissioner for refugees and the International organization for migration from today will organically transfer refugees that are settled in Skopje. With the intermediation of these both organization until now in Kosovo have been returned 3.500 refugees from Macedonia and 6.000 from third countries.

According to the representatives of UNHCR, these days the refugee camp in Stenkovec should be closed, but in spite of that there yesterday were settled 380 gypsies from Kosovo.

In the last two or three days, from the camps of Stenkovec about 3.000 persons were transferred in camp of Çegrane, so now in this camp are settled about 6.000 refugees. Unofficially is perceived that until the end of this month the Senokose camp should be closed, while the camp of Çegrane will be closed in the beginning of September.

The United States of America had promised that they would give 61.7 million dollars to the High commissioner for refugees in their bank account. 50 million of them will be dedicated to kosovar refugees, while 10 million dollars for forming of the organization "Initiative for kosovar women’s".
