SECURITY SITUATION
The president of the World bank, James Vulfenson today will came in some-day visit in Republic of Macedonia and he will meet with the president Kiro Gligorov, premier Lubço Georgievski and with the minister of finance Boris Stojmenov. The aim of this visit is to talk with Macedonian authorities about the consequences that Macedonia and the rest of region had incurred from Kosovo crises, and also for continuing and deepening of cooperation between Macedonia and World Bank. James Vulfenson will also visit Albania and Kosovo.
CAMPS
The High commissioner for refugees have released a communiqué where is said that all the camps around the Macedonia would be closed until October. Form seven camps that were existing in Macedonia, only four are still functioning and there are settled about 8.600 refugees.
SUPPORT
A week ago the International organization for migration, that is now engaged in returning the kosovar refugees from third countries through Macedonian territory, has released a communiqué to public media’s, where is said that Macedonian government one more time has included voluntarily in this operation. This means that Macedonia has to pay all the expenditures. But, sources in Macedonian government categorically demands that Macedonia has ever agreed to take this additional and heavy obligation without the help of International community.
In the Ministry of social works and politics today in 12 o’clock will be signed agreements between this Ministry and six humanitarian organizations from Italy, Greece and France. Humanitarian aid from these organizations that are financed from European Union will be consisting of packet with groceries.
The High commissioner for refugees (UNHCR), beginning from July 23 every Tuesday and Friday will return kosovar refugees organically. The refugees may return in all biggest cities in Kosovo. They can take all their things with them and the return will be for free.
