SECURITY SITUATION
According to the daily newspaper Dnevnik, government representatives insisting that the war will end after two weeks. First this was stated by Prime Minister Ljubco Georgievski then the same said minister of foreign affairs, Aleksandar Dimitrov, in yesterdays press conference. Also he said that reservists were demobilized and they are back to their homes.
NUMBER OF REFUGEES
According to Ministry of Interior (MVR), in the last 24 hours, 274 refugees entered Macedonia, and also 82 illegal entrance were registered. The total number of refugees in Macedonia now is 225.889, while 129.898 of them have the status of humanitarian cared person. 76.871 refugees have been settled in camps and 119.018 in families.
Yesterday, 1.389 refugees were transferred to third countries using airlift. Up to now, 57.150 refugees left Macedonia using airlift.
According to NATO’s spokesman Jamie Shea, more than 40.000 refugees are in the way to Macedonia.
CAMPS
According to UNHCR estimates, there is place for more 17.000 refugees in camps in Macedonia. Most of vacant places are in camp Cegrane - about 8.000.
SUPPORT
The UN Secretary General, Kofi Anan, today will came in one-day visit to Macedonia. Anan will met Macedonian officials, visit the camps, and also will introduce new coordinator of UN activities in Skopje.
According to the daily newspaper Dnevnik, the health condition of refugees settled in camps is unchangeable. There are no epidemics of contagious diseases. AIDS tests are made just to the refugees that were transported to third countries. It is still unknown whether in these tests were detected refugees that suffer form AIDS or have the HIV virus. According to the daily newspaper Vecer, some cases of intestine diseases and respiratory infections have been appeared in refugee camps, but not cholera.
According to the daily newspaper Fakti, about 150 kids protested in camp Stenkovec 1, because they can’t be transferred into third countries and unite with their families.
According to the daily newspaper Fakti, refugees that are settled in camp Radusa say that UNHCR co-operators manipulated them and some Macedonian citizens have been transferred to third countries using airlift.

According to the daily newspaper Flaka, organization "Women under development", in Wednesday, in Culture House in Tetovo will organize an exhibition of paintings, that refugees kids have made when they were in refugee camp Neprosteno.
