SECURITY SITUATION
In Tetovo, the night before yesterday a beating occurred, in which about 500 Albanians participated. In this beating 6 persons, four of them are police officers, were injured. The incident happened in 22.50 o’clock, when a group of Albanians walking in the streets, acclimated "NATO, UCK". The Macedonian citizens were revolted. In a moment one Macedonian citizen hit the mass with the chair, so they converted and came to a beating. According to the Tetovo police 13 objects were damaged mostly in Albanians property. Same incidents happened also in Skopje, when 2 or 3 thousand Albanians went out of camps in main road to salute the NATO forces entering Kosovo, so they damaged 11 cars and three buses.
THE REFUGEE NUMBER
According to the Ministry of Interior (MVR), in the last 24 hours, 3 refugees entered Macedonia in Tabanovce borderland. The total number of refugees in Macedonia now is 271.046, while 154.989 of them have the status of humanitarian cared people.
After the agreement was signed a certain number of refugees began to leave Macedonia and went back to Kosovo. Until yesterday in 14 o’clock 100 refugees crossed the border. They were from the south part of Kosovo and they were going home. In coming days we can expect a large number of refugees to leave Macedonia.
CAMPS
After the agreement for peace in Kosovo was signed in camps refugees became more problematic. So, a group of 2-3 thousand men went out of camps and demonstrated in main roads to salute NATO forces entering Kosovo. The order and the calm was let to Albanians uniformed people, but they let refugees to do whatever they want. The commissar is engaged with the problems of returning the refugees, so they are not preoccupied with these problems. But the refugees need just a sign to go back in Kosovo, while the part of them still want to be transferred in third countries. Nobody wants to stay in Macedonia, because they see no future here.
