SECURITY SITUATION
Sunday evening, unknown persons have attacked French soldiers of NATO forces in Kumanovo with missiles of type "Zola". In that incident nobody was injured.
According to the daily newspaper Dnevnik, Macedonian authorities don’t negate the right of NATO soldiers to use arms for self-protection, but they shouldn’t to surpass the limit of necessary defending. It means that the answer should be reciprocal.
NUMBER OF REFUGEES
According to Ministry of Interior (MVR), in the last 24 hours, 77 new refugees entered Macedonia, while just 8 of them entered legally in borderland Bllace. The total number of refugees in Macedonia is 234.059, while 120.434 of them have the status of humanitarian cared person. 89.230 refugees have been settled in camps: 43.633 in Stenkovec 1 and 2, 31.297 in Cegrane, 5.943 in Neprosteno, 4.961 in Bojane, 2.126 in Senokose and 1.270 in Radusha. 114.829 refugees have been settled in families.
Yesterday, 2.084 refugees left Macedonia using airlift. Up to now, 46.818 refugees left Macedonia using airlift.
According to the daily newspaper Fakti, about 3.000 refugees have been settled in Kicevo, Zajas and Osllomei. About 500 refugee children are following lessons in elementary and secondary schools.
CAMPS
According to the daily newspaper Fakti, after refugee’s protests in camp Stenkovec, starting from today, the number of Albanian policeman that will secure the camp will be increased.
According to MVR, number of Albanian policeman in camp Stenkovec will be increased the same as for the other nationalities. From inside the camp were removed representatives of private security agencies. Starting form today, just persons with badges or special licenses can enter camp Stenkovec.
According to the daily newspaper Dnevnik, "interpreters" of more than 30 humanitarian organizations are misusing that position. They are taking 2.000 up to 5.000 dollars per family to sign them in transferring lists for airlift. Also according to Dnevnik, countries that are accepting refugees are choosing them by the religion, or do they have relative in those countries etc. But the embassies of these countries are denying that.
According to the daily newspaper Fakti, Albanian and Bosnian refugees in camp Radusa are coexisting very well.
SUPPORT
According to the daily newspaper Fakti, just in few last days in HO "El Hilal" have arrived 37 trucks with humanitarian aid, which will be distributed to all the branches of this humanitarian organization in Macedonia.
According to the daily newspaper Fakti, 86.000 refugees have been registered in HO "Spike of goodness". In this humanitarian organization also are arriving humanitarian aids form different countries like: Germany, Turkey, Belgium etc. The head of this HO, Kadri Idrizi is denying statements that activists of this humanitarian organization have been implicated in some unpleasant things that happened in camp.
Primeministers of Greece and Macedonia agreed Greece to build a refugee camp in Macedonia.
According to the daily newspaper Makedonija denes, doctors of International agency for medical support "Doctors without borders" from 19.045 medical controls ascertained that refugees are suffering from psychological stress. Ordinarily they complaining that in their dreams they are recalling sad sights form bombings and destroyed homes, from where they were expelled.
According to the daily newspaper Flaka, in all schools in Albanian language in Macedonia, 18.350 refugee pupils have been included in about 250 in special classes. Also a considerable number of teachers form Kosovo have been included in these classes.
According to the daily newspaper Nova Makedonija, famous movie actor Roger Moore came yesterday in airport "Skopje". As a representative of UNICEF, he will visit refugee camps in Macedonia.
