According to the daily newspaper Dnevnik, yesterday in Macedonian government arrived letter from the Secretary general of NATO, Havier Solana, about NATO’s request for deployment of additional 14.000 soldiers in Macedonia. In the letter is stressed that NATO accepts conditions of Macedonian government that troops will be peaceful and, unofficially, that also financial arrangement was accepted.

According to the Ministry of Interior (MVR), in the last 24 hours, 441 refugees entered Macedonia. Also 211 illegal entries were registered. The total number of refugees in Macedonia now is 280.861, while 147.806 of them have the status of humanitarian cared people. 103.055 refugees have been settled in camps. Most of refugees, 50.416 are settled in Skopje, 40.289 in Tetovo, 19.987 in Gostivar, 12.398 in Kumanvo, 9.520 in Struga, 9.130 in Debar and 3.674 in Kichevo. The number of refugees in camps is following: in camp Cegrane - 41.223, in Stenkovec 1 and 2 - 38.538 refugees, in Senokos - 6.992, in Neprosteno - 7.274, in Bojane - 2.517 and in Radusa - 2.502 refugees.

Yesterday, 1.317 refugees were transferred to third countries using airlift. Up to now, 78.491 refugees left Macedonia using airlift.

According to the daily newspapers Dnevnik and Makedonija Denes, crowd of 300 hungry refugees, yesterday at 11 o’clock in camp Stenkovec 2, surrounded and hit with stones some UNHCR activists. Nobody was injured. Revolt was halted by police after one hour and a half. The reason of protest was the way lists for leaving to third countries using airlift have been made. Refugees are saying that activist of UNHCR are making malversations with refugees. But according to the daily newspaper Vecher in MVR are saying that yesterday there were no protests in camp Stenkovec 2.

According to the daily newspaper Dnevnik, one refugee was injured with eight stabs with a poinard, in a betaing in camp Chegrane. The injured refugee was cared in Norway’s hospital in this camp and his life is out of danger.

According to the daily newspaper Dnevnik, even that UNHCR and foreign humanitarian organizations promised that henceforth they will buy just Macedonian products, until now no humanitarian organization has made contracts with Economic chamber of Macedonia for buying greens.

The Minister of defense, Nikola Kljusev, in yesterday’s press conference at the Macedonian government, said that UNHCR wil be responsible for refugees in the next period of summer and also in the winter.

Starting form june 7th june French Red Cross in cooperation with International federation of Red Cross and Red Halfmoon will distribute foods for refugees in transit center Blace.

According to the daily newspaper Fakti, Association for democratic initiatives from Gostivar helped in uniting 10.000 refugees families.

According to the daily newspaper Fakti, HO "Sipke of goodnes" continually is supplying refugees with foods and othe products. This organization is helping 17.750 families with about 103.460 members.

International HO "Merci Corps" signed again contract with "Bitolska mlekarnica" valuable to 445.000 US dollars for supplying kosovar refugees with milk.
